Soil microorganisms from a pasture near Zürich, Switzerland. Soil samples were fixed and imaged using scanning electron microscopy. Image coloring was performed post acquisition for illustration. Images can be downloaded and reused freely for non-commercial purposes, as long as proper credit is given using the following mention:
