My research focuses on the energetic aspects of evaporation from drying porous surfaces and currently I am working on modeling surface temperature and energy partitioning dynamics over drying terrestrial surfaces.

We aim to investigate dynamics of evaporation at pore scale and upscale results to predict surface energy balance components at larger scales. Model predictions will be evaluated using well-controlled laboratory experiments equipped with infrared imaging with high spatial and temporal resolutions.
